University of Arkansas Soybean Economic Notes, Nov. 24, 2017

University of Arkansas logoBob Stark, agricultural economics professor with the University of Arkansas’ School of Agriculture and Southeast Research & Extension Center, Monticello, and Jeremy Ross, assistant professor and Extension soybean agronomist, Little Rock, review the trading week in Arkansas, ending Nov. 24, 2017.

This report includes the weekly report of 2017 crop movements in cash market soybean prices.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agriculture Marketing Service began listing price quotes on Wednesday, Nov. 17,  for No. 1 Yellow Soybeans New Crop Booking Prices, and I have added a graph for that market covering last Wednesday through this Tuesday, Nov. 21.

The weekly report following Thanksgiving should be more standard with a full week of price quotes for 2017 old crop and 2018 new crop booking.

All prices were compiled from the Arkansas Daily Grain Report by the Agriculture Marketing Service.
